Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church was founded in 1912 and has been located in Gasport, New York ever since. As we have evolved from horse drawn carriages to computers, the church has a tremendous online presence through Facebook and this website. The church celebrated its 100 year celebration in 2012 and continues to be a strong community presence through its missions and outreach programs, including its annual Vacation Bible School in the Summer and the Community Food Pantry.
Our church is currently in a period of transition as we prayerfully seek the next minister to lead our congregation. In the meantime, we are blessed with strong leadership from our elders, dedicated lay leaders, and guest preachers who guide our worship and ministries each week.
The Pastoral Search Committee is actively and thoughtfully engaged in the process of discerning God’s call for our next minister. We remain a vibrant, welcoming, and Christ-centered community, continuing to worship, serve, and grow together. We invite you to be part of this exciting season with us.
