Welcome One and All!!!

Greetings to you from the banks of the historic Erie Canal!  Located midway between Buffalo and Rochester, New York, Gasport is one of those quaint little hamlets that found its place on the map with the growth of agricultural and industrial commerce on “Clinton’s Ditch”!  Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, incorporated in 1912, found a home in the hamlet just a few years later in 1916. Today our congregation welcomes you with open arms as we grow in faith and hope in Jesus Christ and seek to share his love and blessings to our community and to the world.   We belong to the Upstate New York Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and our doors are wide open to all who seek a deeper walk with our God and who desire to share with others in their joys and their sorrows, their triumphs and their struggles. Along with our members, I offer to you the invitation to join us on the journey!

Rodney Klinzing, Pastor

How amazing is this group? One of our many ways to help the community, the Gasport Community Food Pantry and Clothing Closet were able to distribute 34 Thanksgiving meal bags to our community . Remember we are here to #LIVEGENEROUSLY
